Description
Famous for its hundreds of tori gates forming orange tunnels winding through the hills, the Fushimi Inari Taisha Shrine in Kyoto, Japan overflows with countless other beautiful sites when one begins to view its architectural details. Temples and buildings in traditional Japanese architecture abound. If you are disappointed, you might not be up to climbing the long paths lined with tori gates, it will be difficult not to quickly change into a happy frame of mind. Flags, bright colors and visual delights are everywhere. I have enjoyed all three of my adventures to the Fushimi Inari Taisha Shrine and from each of my serendipity explorations have taken more and more wonderful reference pictures of its architectural details. For instance, this photo painting of a thatched roof behind a section of eaves created this architectural abstract art.
