I am in a bit a quandary regarding this order. I have not received it. The UPS tracking shows it coming to Canada then going to California. I have not been able to contact UPS as they only seem to want to hear from US addresses. Fine Art America has not been of any assistance in getting me connected with my order. As a result of this experience, I do not plan on ordering anything more from this supplier. Too bad, there are a lot of nice things on their website. If this matter gets sorted out, I will update this review. Update: my order eventually arrived and I am quite happy with it.

I probably will NOT purchase from this site again. The quality of the puzzle was just okay, for example there were many pieces where the backing was delaminating. (See 2 photos) Additionally, the size was advertised as 20" x 28". The finished puzzle size was actually 19-5/8" x 26-1/8". I feel that skimping on the size resulted in the face of the bottom kitty being half obscured when framed. This is the most I've ever paid for a puzzle that I expected to be perfect. (I could only select 1 photo. Please email me if you want photos of puzzle pieces delaminating.)

I haven't done the puzzle yet but I was very pleased with the speed it was sent. The puzzle itself is brilliant I only wish I were able to find Linda Carruth's puzzles in England
Our nursing friend had the day off from the hospital which resulted in her showing my wife and me some points of interest in Wuhan, China. The Guiyuan Buddhist Temple was the first stop. The focal point is a very tall lady Buddha statue. However, I found myself discovering a wide variety of intriguing things. Brightly painted architectural detail in the traditional Chinese building style, an area filled with countless small Buddha statues, a building with 500 Lohans plus some beautiful courtyards. I have created a number of abstract photo paintings from reference pictures taken that morning. This is a minimalist image of architectural detail between two buildings. Contrasted to all the color and intricate visuals throughout the temple, this glimpse of plain and simple I found refreshing. Like the space between sentences, a tiny space that was quiet, often overlooked, yet having its own beauty.
Architecture and architectural detail have been a lifelong love. As a matter of fact, many of my first drawings and paintings were of barns on and around my grandparents farm. When deciding what university major to pursue, it was only due to my less than outstanding math grades that prevented my choice of architecture. However, obtaining a degree in advertising design turned out to be an excellent choice. Yet my interest in architecture persisted. Twice during my corporate design career I designed and built my own house. Travels allowed visits to noteworthy architectural sites on four continents.
