Artist's Description
Our nursing friend had the day off from the hospital which resulted in her showing my wife and me some points of interest in Wuhan, China. The Guiyuan Buddhist Temple was the first stop. The focal point is a very tall lady Buddha statue. However, I found myself discovering a wide variety of intriguing things. Brightly painted architectural detail in the traditional Chinese building style, an area filled with countless small Buddha statues, a building with 500 Lohans plus some beautiful courtyards. Like the space between sentences, a tiny space that was quiet, often overlooked, yet having its own beauty.
