Artist's Description
A large bridge over the Rhine River in Cologne Germany carries rail traffic and motor vehicles on two decks. Located in the shadow of the magnificent Cologne Cathedral few people paid attention to the bridge. Recently the walkways on both sides of its steel arches have attracted lovers of all ages. The fences separating pedestrians from traffic are now covered with Lovelocks forming a colorful mosaic ribbon from shore to shore. This painting is a close-up of those countless tokens of love.
