One corner of an Osaka park is filled with the hustle and bustle of the Tennoji Train station. On another is the quiet solitude of the Isshinji Temple. I have twice enjoyed the serenity of its grounds taking my time to explore its many beautiful architectural details. A blend of modern and ancient styles. Since untold people pass this door unaware of the fantastic abstract image it holds, I have created this photo painting so at least a few can be exposed to its beauty.

Architecture and architectural detail have been a lifelong love. As a matter of fact, many of my first drawings and paintings were of barns on and around my grandparents farm. When deciding what university major to pursue, it was only due to my less than outstanding math grades that prevented my choice of architecture. However, obtaining a degree in advertising design turned out to be an excellent choice. Yet my interest in architecture persisted.
