This is the most beautiful painting! I feel lucky and blessed that I came across it! My husband and I honeymooned in Mo’orea and we had taken many pictures in front of this church. To find that Greg Collins painted it was such a joy! We will treasure it forever!

I was super-pleased with my photo print purchase! Like many people, I’m sure, when making online purchases there’s always just a little voice of skepticism in the back of my mind. I knew I liked the image, but had to roll the dice that it would look good in person, the frame would be adequate, etc. I must say it exceeded even my hopeful expectations! First of all, the packing was stellar. The photo print did look great in person, and the framing was WAY better than I was expecting! It was ready to go with a sturdy hanging wire already in place. Unfortunately it was a gift, so I don’t have a photo of it on my wall! I did, however, open and inspect it before wrapping it and re-shipping (in the same stellar packing!). I would easily recommend FineArtAmerica and will happily shop with them again in the future…worry free!

On many visits to Taiwan, my home base is Taoyuan. I am a frequent user of the Number One bus which has a stop at the Jingfu Temple. Its traditional architectural style is crowded on all sides by traffic and mundane city buildings. A bright spot along the bus route. On my many visits I never cease to marvel at the circular brightly colored decorative gates. Peeking through them from different angles creates a sort of kaleidoscope effect. Great visual entertainment from viewing architectural detail close up. Believers come here to pray, I come for the joy I receive from its architecture.

Architecture and architectural detail have been a lifelong love. As a matter of fact, many of my first drawings and paintings were of barns on and around my grandparents farm. When deciding what university major to pursue, it was only due to my less than outstanding math grades that prevented my choice of architecture.
