A totally adequate purchase - nothing outstanding, nothing problematic. Since the original was one of your stock images, I cannot speak to whether this was a clear image, besides which the original was a watercolor, so clarity is not essential to the success of the image. I predict that a larger image would lack clarity. But I'm generally satisfied.

My husband and I had a lovely trip to Paris and southern France last July. While on a bus trip we were able to take a photo of this cafe that we share a name with. Our photo was a little blurry and not good for enlargement. Your wonderful photo now hangs in our own kitchen as a nice reminder of that trip. It is beautiful and of very good quality. We love it. Thank you Mary Flore

Beautiful picture. Grew up on northshore so wanted something from there. Metal picture really shows the colors and picture quality is very clear.

This is one of three pieces that I am adding to my collection. Once I have received the other two pieces I will be happy to provide a photograph of the display. The quality of the art piece is exceptional. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase even more pieces!
Artist's Description
It was pouring down rain when I met my two friends across from the Sumiyoshi Taisha Shrine in Osaka. While rain washed away the brilliance of the multicolored architectural decoration, its muted form still brought a sense of joy. Under our umbrellas we wandered freely about the large shine area with its many ancient wood structures and classic red arched bridge. The only sound was of the rain and a few ducks also wandering about enjoying various puddles. Having no large Buddha as its focal point, the beauty here was of the wonderful buildings. The wood craftsmanship which combines structure and decoration is nothing short of amazing. Traditional Japanese architectural design and detail can be so minimal in one place and very complex in another. The balance intrigues me. May my photo painting also bring you some intrigue and enjoyment.
About Richard Neuman Architectural Gifts
Architecture and architectural detail have been a lifelong love. As a matter of fact, many of my first drawings and paintings were of barns on and around my grandparents farm. When deciding what university major to pursue, it was only due to my less than outstanding math grades that prevented my choice of architecture. However, obtaining a degree in advertising design turned out to be an excellent choice. Yet my interest in architecture persisted. Twice during my corporate design career I designed and built my own house. Travels allowed visits to noteworthy architectural sites on four continents. Experiencing buildings first hand has brought and continues to bring feelings of joy, amazement, excitement and wonder. On occasion tears and...
