I love the puzzle as I live in Shingletown. It was very difficult! But the letters that say "Gateway To Lassen" are CUT OFF it only shows part of the quotes. 🤦♀️ So disappointing! ☹ *See attached image.

Architectural detail is intricate, full of interest. Structure and decoration often become one. Being in a happy mood and feeling optimistic is not an uncommon reaction experienced while visiting temples and shrines. Even statues have Buddha smiling. When exploring nooks and crannies I discover vignettes of exceptional beauty. Believers and tourists see temples through different lenses than mine. I am a seeker of subjects for my photo paintings. Selecting from things old to create contemporary abstract art. May you discover visual and mental enjoyment from sights previously passed by.
Architecture and architectural detail have been a lifelong love. As a matter of fact, many of my first drawings and paintings were of barns on and around my grandparents farm. When deciding what university major to pursue, it was only due to my less than outstanding math grades that prevented my choice of architecture. However, obtaining a degree in advertising design turned out to be an excellent choice. Yet my interest in architecture persisted. Twice during my corporate design career I designed and built my own house. Travels allowed visits to noteworthy architectural sites on four continents.
