I noted that the color came out differently on this size of bag, it is distinctly more purple. I happen to love that color also--the larger size has perfect color, exactly like the photo. I love both of my bags.

This tote bag is gorgeous! I saw a picture of it and had to have it. The colors are just beautiful. The size is better than I expected, because it's larger than I had envisioned it. It is practical and functional as well as beautiful. I'm very happy with this purchase.
On my visual adventure through the Guiyuan Temple in Wuhan, China, I once again felt delighted to be spending time surrounded by ancient Chinese architecture. Parts were much like an amazing maze. Dozens of vignettes of architectural details appeared around almost every corner. A noontime sun created dramatic shadows as it filtered in and out of the buildings. Sights here were not delicate but bold, simple and solid imparting a feeling of being safe, protected. A quiet comfortable mood well enjoyed. Wuhan is home to many temples, some impressive both in size, architectural details and location. Somehow the Guiyuan Temple remains a beautiful little memory.
Architecture and architectural detail have been a lifelong love. As a matter of fact, many of my first drawings and paintings were of barns on and around my grandparents farm. When deciding what university major to pursue, it was only due to my less than outstanding math grades that prevented my choice of architecture. However, obtaining a degree in advertising design turned out to be an excellent choice. Yet my interest in architecture persisted. Twice during my corporate design career I designed and built my own house. Travels allowed visits to noteworthy architectural sites on four continents.
